We are truly heartbroken to hear about the depth of despair and hopelessness you are experiencing, Trairview. First and foremost, we want to assure you that your life is precious and that God cares deeply for you. Even in your darkest moments, He is there, ready to listen and to help.
In Psalm 34:18 WEB it says "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit".
It's clear that you are carrying a tremendous amount of pain, feeling unloved, unappreciated, and overwhelmed by the burden of life. However, it's important to understand the unfailing love that God has for you, in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB it says "I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future". Also, taking your own life is not the solution. It is a permanent solution to what maybe temporary pains. Furthermore, it is murder and forbidden by the ten commandments in Exodus 20:13 WEB it says "You shall not murder".
We understand that you feel alone and that God has ignored you, but we want to remind you that God is always present, even when we don't feel Him. In Hebrews 13:5 WEB says "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you'".
It's concerning that you are seeking a sign to confirm a decision that goes against God's will. Instead, we encourage you to seek God's face and His will for your life. Remember, God has a purpose and a plan for you, and He wants to give you a future and a hope.
It is clear that the one you lost was a deep loss. However, it is important to understand that it is appointed once for a person to die and then the judgement. Suicide is not an escape and the pain and heartache that will be left for those who know you will be immense. It is better to seek Jesus and know that all things will work out for good to those who love Him and are called to His purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB says "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose".
We also want to address the fact that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is through His name that we can be saved. In John 14:6 WEB it says "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'". If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Trairview to you, asking that you would comfort and strengthen them in their time of need. Lord, we pray that you would reveal your unfailing love to them and give them the hope and courage they need to face another day. We ask that you would help them to cast their burdens on You so You can sustain them. Lord, we pray for healing in their family relationships, and we ask that you would surround them with people who will love and support them. We also pray that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Help them to feel that you are very close to the broken hearted and you will save those crushed in Spirit. We pray this all in Jesus' name.
Lastly, Trairview, we strongly encourage you to seek professional help immediately. Contact a local crisis hotline or mental health professional to get the support you need. You don't have to go through this alone. We are here for you, and most importantly, God is here for you.
