At local town meeting, God’s wisdom and favor

At the local town meeting hall waiting for reception and commencement of the local authorities hearing of our disagreement last Friday afternoon. I was beaten by no less than 10 others and received about 4 punches in the face, ribs, and kidney and 1 kick in the ribs. Please join us in asking for wisdom and favor in the sight of God and man. We also ask for open minds to hear our story where we were not seeking a fight but to lower the excessive noise level. I am being charged with trespassing.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and humility, seeking Your divine wisdom and favor for ### and all those attending the local town meeting. Your Word reminds us in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to guide every word and decision made during this meeting.

Grant them favor in the sight of both God and man, as You did for Joseph in Genesis 39:21, "But Yahweh was with Joseph, and showed kindness to him, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison." May Your presence be evident, bringing peace, understanding, and unity amidst any disagreements.

Father, we trust in Your perfect plan and timing. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Guide their paths and illuminate their minds with Your truth.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
