Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise: "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." (Psalm 147:3 WEB) You have been through a traumatic experience, and it's important to seek healing and refuge in God. It's also crucial to remember that God hates divorce, as it is a betrayal of the sacred covenant of marriage (Malachi 2:16). However, God is not against you, but against the sin that has caused this pain.
We also want to address that it's only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6 WEB) We encourage you to lean on Jesus during this difficult time and trust in Him for your healing and restoration.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her children. Lord, they have been through a devastating ordeal, and they need Your healing touch. Comfort them in their pain, and help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Father, we ask for complete healing and restoration for ### and her children. Bring peace and joy back into their lives. Strengthen them and help them to overcome this trial. Provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
Lord, we also pray for ###'s former husband. We pray that he would turn away from his sinful lifestyle, repent, and seek Your face. We pray that he would be completely transformed by Your power and become the man You have called him to be.
