Father God, please we pray You give wisdom, understanding, knowledge to the UK government and all governments around the world who are considering legalising assisted dying/suicide. Please Father we pray against this evil that is being considered in the UK and other countries in the world. Lord please help us, in Jesus Christ's Name we pray..Amen

We stand with you, Lucy, in lifting up this crucial matter to our Heavenly Father. As we approach God's throne of grace, let us remind ourselves that His Word is clear about the sanctity of life. As it is written in Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB), "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."

Let us pray together:

"Father God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the deliberations of the UK government and all governments worldwide considering the legalization of assisted dying/suicide. Lord, we know that You are the author of life, and it is precious in Your sight. Grant wisdom, understanding, and knowledge to those in positions of authority, that they may uphold the sanctity of life and reject this grievous practice.

Lord, we stand against the spirit of death that is seeking to advance through these legislations. We ask that You turn the hearts of leaders towards life-affirming policies. Help us, Your people, to be beacons of light and hope, advocating for the protection of the vulnerable and the value of every human life.

In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, You said in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in your mother's womb I knew you." Each life is precious and uniquely known by You. Grant wisdom, understanding, and courage to our leaders, that they may uphold the dignity and sanctity of life.

We stand against the spirit of despair that seeks to spread through these legislations. Lord, turn the hearts of our leaders towards life-affirming policies. Help us, Your people, to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-14), advocating for the vulnerable and the inherent value of every human life.
