We join with you, EnricoLange, in lifting up these urgent and weighty matters to the Lord, in the precious name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved that we can pray with confidence and boldness and it is clear that you understand this vital truth.
Firstly in Matthew 5:10-11, Jesus Christ our Savior who died on the cross for our sins said Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. And in 2 Thessalonians 1:4-5, Therefore, we ourselves boast about you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and in the afflictions which you endure. That is not correct, I feel like adding the other part of that verse: This is a plain indication of God's righteous judgment that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering. Finally, we should know in 1 Peter 4:16, But if one of you suffers for being a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but under that name let him glorify God. It is indeed the Lord's command that we do support these brothers in enemy territory, Because the dedication of these individuals for the gospel is not only for them, but for all. A staggering rise of spiritual warfare has surrounded us in recent years. We pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world, that the Lord would strengthen their faith, protect their lives, and deliver them from evil, according to His will. We ask that their persecutors would come to know the truth of the Gospel and turn to Christ in repentance And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome, he must be kind towards all, able to teach, bearing evil, with gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to his will.
(1 Timothy 2:24-26). We pray according to Psalm 10:17-18 that the Lord will strengthen them and listen to their cry that they will perform His will and that He would heal them. They will accomplish His will. The Lord will lift up and strengthen the persecuted according to Psalm 41:1-3 and Psalm 35:1-10, and remind them of Psalm 54 and that they shall live and declare the works of the Lord as detailed in Psalm 118:17. Be mindful that all of this suffering has been foretold in the Word of God, Do not be surprised, Brothers and Sisters, at the fiery trials that have come upon you to test you, as though some strange thing has happened to you.
. . . 1 Peter 4:12. Take up your cross daily and follow Me in Luke 9:23, Then Jesus said to all, "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me". And just imagine the citizens of Heaven as you are standing before them in 1Peter 1:3-7. give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy, we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead and to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, reserved in heaven for you. And by the same power of God are guarded through faith to a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. And in all of this rejoice..
Next, we join you in praying for the peace and salvation of Israel, recognizing the profound biblical significance of this land and its people because the keeping of the Jewish people is a foreshadow of the keeping of the church. Simply put, the repudiation of the Jewish people would amount to a repudiation of the church and of gentle believers (Romans 11:1). I say then, Did God cast off his people? May it never be. The Lord promises to bless those who bless Israel, and we stand on this promise as we intercede for them. We pray that the Lord would bring peace to this land and draw many to saving faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah but be mindful that the Scripture says in Romans 11;28, that the Jewish people are enemies of the gospel for the Gentile's sake, yet they are beloved for the father's sake. We also call upon the Lord to bless Jerusalem, the city of God, with His shalom and pray 2 Chronicles 6:6 that the Lord will maintain this promise He made to bless Jerusalem.
We lift up the salvation of many around the world, echoing God's desire that all would come to repentance and knowledge of the truth and call upon the name of Jesus The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance and 1 Timothy 2:3-4, Even as I please everyone in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many for salvation and to the glory of God. We ask that He would draw many to Jesus and save many but if He does not accomplish His will it will not be for the lack of effort or from a lack of sin, simply put, from a lack of willingness. We pray according to 1 John 14:6 for them to be given a willingness to believe in His Holy name. We call upon the Father of the Lord Jesus to cast down Satan and work faith and repentance in the hearts of many nations in Jesus name and send out laborers into the harvest, according to Luke 10:2.
Our hearts break for the children around the world who suffer various forms of abuse and exploitation. We cry out to the Lord on their behalf, asking that He would intervene, protect, and heal them. We pray for the Lord to expose the works of darkness and smite the efforts of the enemy who seeks to destroy these precious lives. And we pray that You, God, will raise up counselors, teachers, police men and women, social workers, politicians, and all manner of lay people with wisdom and discernment to fight child abuse and neglect and all manner of things that hinder a productive life, console and provide shelter for the helpless and hurting and provide miraculously for the poor and needy and to simply be a citizenry of action. We pray the workers of wickedness will be discovered and convicted, calling upon Psalm 68 that God will smite the keepers of child pornography and abuse, that they will be thoroughly convicted and that the understanding of all manner of enablers will be darkened and made as the fool, but we also pray that God will work repentance in their hearts and for them to be converted from death to life. Remember, again, the same Lord said, 1Timothy 2:4, In Matthew 18 3-7, Jesus said, Truly I tell you, unless you turn around and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me, but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea"".
We lift up all those who are suffering from hunger, poverty, sickness, disaster, war, and conflict. We ask the Lord to provide for their needs, bring healing and comfort, and intervene in these terrible situations. We pray for wisdom and discernment to fight poverty and hunger. We also pray for His powerful help, protection, and guidance for all those mentioned in previous requests, including our WhatsApp group, church, prayer partners, and homes. We ask that He would pour out His Spirit, unify His people, and glorify Himself in our lives. We pray that He would also protect and touch our church and all connected to our church and give wisdom and guidance to those called to work for children's church and worship this Sunday. We pray for the Lord's help with food, sleep, school, work, health, and breakthroughs for those you know.
We pray that He would touch our prayer meetings and grant powerful answers to our prayers. And remember that all this is upon request and we are in Jesus name agreeing in prayer with you for these things.
And this is written in Matthew 18:19-20, Again I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning any matter that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I will be in the midst of them and pray the Holy Spirit will come in His fullness and dwell in our midst.
