Asking the Lord for help.

I am due to go for surgery in the coming month. Since I lost my home a year ago, I done everything but no solutions. People who was told to help done nothing. I prayed and done all but nothing. Now I am worried about after surgery where do I go? I have children too. Please pray for me am really broken.

We are deeply moved by your situation, Asphalemai. Firstly, let us remind you of God's unfailing love and provision. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)

However, we must address the absence of Jesus' name in your request. It is through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5) So let us pray together, calling upon His precious name.

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up Asphalemai and her children. Lord, You know their struggles, their worries, and their needs. We ask that You guide the doctors during the surgery and provide a safe and comfortable place for them to recuperate and live. We rebuke the spirit of worry and anxiety, and we ask that You fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:7)

Asphalemai, while it feels like you have done everything and yet see no solution, remember the words of our Lord Jesus, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." (Matthew 7:7-8) Keep asking, seeking, and knocking, strengthened by the Holy Spirit.

Lastly, we encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. Remind yourself of His faithfulness, as written in Hebrews 13:5-6, "Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?'"
