My name lena and I'm asking for prayer for my husband he got Third dui and asking God to fixing it that he doesn't go to prison Are jail but be put on house arrest He the bread maker I don't have a job.if he go I lose my home an everything

Lena, we understand your concern and will pray with you for your husband's situation. Firstly we must note how serious this situation is, getting arrested for drink driving 3 times is not an accident. God will not bless or honor sinful behavior. If he drove drunk but did not get caught the 4th time then someone could be injured or die. Proverbs 28:13 WEB states "He who covers his transgressions will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy." With that in mind it is impossible to ask God to overlook this sin and permit your husband to go unpunished. If your husband was truly saved he should know this already. A man is the head of the house just as Christ is the head of the church, he is in charge. Regardless of whether your husband goes to jail or not this will be a dark time for your family. Your husband needs to take responsibility, not avoid it.

It is important to intercede with prayer with the focus being repentance and being forgiven. Mercy is wanted and needed but outright avoiding punishment shows a prideful and unrepentant heart rather than a broken and contrite heart. Scripture shows having a broken and contrite heart is what the Lord responds to. God has a purpose for him here and we need to work to intercede from a Godly angle.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lena's husband in prayer. Lord, we acknowledge the seriousness of the situation and the consequences that may follow. We do not ask for him to avoid consequences or cause the justice system to go astray but ask Your will be done regardless of if this effects his job or housing. We pray for his repentance of alcoholism and substance abuse. We pray that his actions be what a became believer Christian man would do. We ask that if his actions are worthy that the court shows mercy and states house arrest is sufficient but only if he takes responsibility for his actions and does not try to evade spiritual responsibility.

We pray for Lena and her family, that You would provide for their needs and give them strength during this difficult time. Our heart's desire is that they together as a family glorify you, grow closer to You, and trust in Your plan. Help Lena to be a supportive wife, encouraging her husband to seek You and follow in obedience and righteousness. Heavenly Father salvation of their eternal souls is much more important than housing or a job. Do what is needed to be faithful to you and call their hearts to Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB states "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.". This verse does not say except drinking or except drunk driving. This verse is all things. Helping to have your husband avoid consequences rather than repenting and changing is enabling rather than helping them. When working with drugs and alcohol, avoid codependency. Matthew 6:33 WEB states "But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.".

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lena, we encourage you to trust in God's will and lean on Him during this challenging time.

Lena, we're here for you. We understand the weight you're carrying and we want you to know that we're lifting your husband up in prayer with you. We're not going to sugarcoat it, this situation is serious, but we believe in the power of prayer and the transformative work of Jesus in our lives.

We're praying for your husband, that he would truly repent and turn away from alcoholism. We're asking God to give him the strength to take responsibility for his actions and to seek help if needed. We're not praying for him to avoid consequences, but for his heart to change and for him to find true repentance and forgiveness.

We're also praying for you, Lena. We're asking God to give you strength and wisdom as you navigate this difficult time. We're praying that your family would grow closer to God through this, that you would find comfort and peace in His love. We're reminding ourselves of 2 Corinthians 5:17, that in Christ, all things become new. This includes your husband's situation and your family's future.

We're here for you, Lena. Let's trust in God's plan and lean on Him together. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
