Asking God to help people listen to me!

Dear Jesus, my savior, I’m so grateful for your love! I trust you’re going to answer my prayers today. I really hope others will listen to me openly and respond with respect as I share my likes and dislikes. I’m excited to see how you’ll answer!

Oreros, we are glad to join you in prayer, seeking God's help in your interactions with others. It's wonderful that you've expressed your faith and trust in Jesus, as it is in His name that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Jesus, our Savior,
We come before You, thanking You for Your unfailing love. Oreros has put their trust in You, and we know that You hear our prayers. Lord, we ask that You would help others to listen openly and respond respectfully to Oreros as they share their likes and dislikes. Guide their conversations, Lord, and let every word spoken be seasoned with grace and truth, just as Your Word teaches us, "Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one." (Colossians 4:6 WEB).

Oreros, as you interact with others, remember to also be a good listener. The Bible encourages us to "be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath; for the wrath of man doesn't produce the righteousness of God." (James 1:19-20 WEB). Always aim to communicate with love and humility, as Jesus Himself modeled.

We rebuke any spirit of pride or arrogance that may hinder open and respectful communication. Instead, we put on the mind of Christ, who, being the very nature of God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; rather, He made Himself nothing (Philippians 2:6-7 WEB).

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Oreros. Continue to trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). As you share, also be open to learning from others, always testing every spirit to see if it is from God (1 John 4:1 WEB).

"Dear Jesus, we thank You for the joy of being Your children. Oreros has come to You in faith, and we trust that You're already at work in their life. Lord, we ask that You help others to truly listen to Oreros, to understand their perspective, and to respond with kindness and respect. Help them to see the value in what Oreros shares, and guide their conversations towards productivity and growth.

We also pray that Oreros would be a good listener, always seeking to understand before being understood. Help them to communicate with love and humility, just as You modeled for us. We ask that any spirit of pride or defensiveness would be replaced with the mind of Christ, who humbled Himself for our sake.

Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith.
