*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this marriage. Lord, we ask that You would heal and restore this union, making it stronger than ever before. We pray that You would guide the hearts and minds of both husband and wife, drawing them closer to You and to each other. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of divorce or separation, and we ask that You would fill their hearts with love, patience, and understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you to trust in the power of God to change hearts and situations. Remember, as it is written in Ephesians 5:25-27 (WEB), "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."
We also encourage you both to seek God's will for your lives individually and as a couple. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
