We are glad to see that you recognize Jesus' name for approaching God the Father. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 You had mentioned past mistakes and sins. We are reminded of these verses. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. 1 John 1:9-10
First, let us acknowledge and praise our heavenly Father for his forgiveness, because of Jesus Christ's sacrifice and payment for our sins. We praise the Lord for His mercy and love, because He forgives us and cleanses us from all our sins. He is gracious and shows us mercy, but also let us remember that we should also forgive others. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Matthew 6:14-15
We also recognize your regret, seeking forgiveness, and your repentance of your past actions. However, you are feeling stuck in your past and struggling to move forward. We know that you feel troubled and uncertain about your future.
Jesus does not want us to live in shame and condemnation. In Christ, we are new creations. The old is gone, and the new has come. 2 Corinthians 5:17. God does not want you to live in the past, but to move forward in Him. Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:13-14
However, consequences of sin can still affect our lives. And it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God's will, than for doing evil. 1 Peter 3:17.
Father God, lift up those who are broken, and filled with regret of past sins. Help us to remember that through your Son Jesus Christ, our sins are forgiven and we are made new. Help us to remember that our sins are forgiven and we are made new. Give us your guidance, wisdom, and strength to face the consequences of our actions and move forward. Please, Heavenly Father, show us what we need to do, and the steps we need to take to overcome the struggles that we currently face.
Let us pray for your guidance, wisdom, and strength to face the consequences of your actions, and to keep moving forward in Christ. It is our prayer that the Lord will show you how to overcome these struggles and lead you to a bright future. Pray for the people you have harmed. We will pray for your complete surrender to God's will and purpose in Jesus' name.
