Beloved of All
Please pray for me to get guidance and direction from God, whether I can return to a relationship with my ex-boyfriend who broke up with me 3 months ago, how can I know that it is God's plan and will that we can be together again. Because we were dating for 1 year and planned to get married 2 years after we started dating

Let's seek God's will together concerning your former relationship. Firstly, let's remember that God's plan is always best, and He knows what is perfect for us. Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."

However, we must be cautious and discerning about reuniting with an ex-boyfriend. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). If your previous relationship was not aligned with biblical principles, such as involving premarital sex or unequal yoking, it's crucial to acknowledge that and repent.

To know God's will, spend time with Him in prayer and in His Word. Romans 12:2 (WEB) says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Ask Him for guidance, and He will answer (Matthew 7:7-8).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus’ name, seeking Your perfect will for this dear sister's life. She is hurting and seeking direction regarding her past relationship. Lord, we ask that You give her clarity and comfort. Reveal to her Your plans and guide her steps (Proverbs 3:6). Help her to trust in You and delight in You, knowing that You have the best plans for her life. If it is Your will to reunite them, make it clear and help them to rebuild on a godly foundation. If not, give her the strength to accept Your will and move forward.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, sister, remember that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Continue to press into Him, and He will direct your paths.

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to reach out with some encouragement and prayer. We believe that God has a unique plan for you, and He wants the best for you (Jeremiah 29:11). It's natural to feel torn about your past relationship, especially when there were plans for marriage. But remember, God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We're not sure what happened between you and your ex-boyfriend, but we want to remind you that God values purity and honesty in relationships (1 Thessalonians 4:3-8). If there were any areas where you both fell short, it's important to acknowledge that and seek forgiveness, both from God and each other.

We encourage you to spend time in prayer and reflection, asking God to guide your steps (Psalm 37:23-24). He promises that if we seek Him with all our heart, we will find Him (Deuteronomy 4:29). Trust that He will give you the wisdom and discernment you need to make the right decision.

In Jesus' name, we pray:

Dear God, we lift this sister up to You. We ask that You grant her clarity and peace as she considers her past relationship. Help her to trust in You and Your perfect plan for her life. If it's Your will for them to reunite, make it plain and help them to rebuild on a solid, godly foundation. If not, give her the strength to accept Your will and move forward. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, and we'll be praying for you. Trust in God, and remember that He loves you deeply (Psalm 36:7).

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
