Let's seek God's will together concerning your former relationship. Firstly, let's remember that God's plan is always best, and He knows what is perfect for us. Psalm 37:4-5 (WEB) tells us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
However, we must be cautious and discerning about reuniting with an ex-boyfriend. The Bible warns us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18). If your previous relationship was not aligned with biblical principles, such as involving premarital sex or unequal yoking, it's crucial to acknowledge that and repent.
To know God's will, spend time with Him in prayer and in His Word. Romans 12:2 (WEB) says, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Ask Him for guidance, and He will answer (Matthew 7:7-8).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus’ name, seeking Your perfect will for this dear sister's life. She is hurting and seeking direction regarding her past relationship. Lord, we ask that You give her clarity and comfort. Reveal to her Your plans and guide her steps (Proverbs 3:6). Help her to trust in You and delight in You, knowing that You have the best plans for her life. If it is Your will to reunite them, make it clear and help them to rebuild on a godly foundation. If not, give her the strength to accept Your will and move forward.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, sister, remember that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Continue to press into Him, and He will direct your paths.
