Amenarenos, we understand that you are seeking a better job with a good salary and a family with someone who loves you. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that God is the provider of all good things, and it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to Him. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only through Jesus Christ that we have redemption, forgiveness, and salvation. It is also the way we sould ask God anything as his Will is the best for us. John 15:7 WEB: "If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you." If we love Jesus then we should follow his commands rather than our own desires. It is only what we ask in his name that we might have. It is also important that we should ask for blessings rather than specific things as the Lord has a specific plan for your. Hardships in your job and singleness might be the only way to be directed into the plan he has for you. Also as we are obedient to the Lord we will be humble and ask only what is necessary rather than luxury or self-desires.
Regarding your request for a better job, we encourage you to trust in God's provision and timing. Colossians 3:23-24 WEB reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." We pray that God will open the right doors for you to secure a better job with a good salary, but also that you would find contentment and purpose in your current circumstances as you are waiting. Also, it is very important that whatever the job is, it should be a positive environment for Christian expansion of the Gospel. You should be an example of light in a dark world rather than taking employment that is an enterprise of immorality, profanity, or illegal activities.
Concerning your desire for a family with someone who loves you, we encourage you to seek God's will in this matter. God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. Genesis 2:24 WEB: "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." It is necessary to pray for a husband or wife rather than a 'partnership'. Also sexual relationships outside marriage is immoral fornication. If a spouse is already married to someone else, it is adultery. Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin that a man does is outside the body, but whoever commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. So also is homosexuality. This is immoral and no marriage should come from two men or two women. The man who loves his wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; He who was joined to the Lord is one spirit But he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body . If God's plan includes marriage for you, trust that He will bring the right person into your life at the right time. Until then, use this season of singleness to grow in your relationship with God and become the person He has called you to be. Seek to be the right person God wants in character that aligns with the Bible rather than just looking for the right spouse. If you are not in a covenant relationship with Jesus Christ then do that first before seeking a covenant relationship of marriage. You should believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and that he died for your sins then God will give you the Holy Spirit to accompany you in this life. We join you in prayer for a godly spouse based on Ephesians 3:20 ESV. Ephesians 3:20 WEB: "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Amenarenos. We are so grateful for your love. First of all we ask that if they have not received salvation in Christ Jesus that they accept you today. We ask that You guide them in their career, opening doors for a better job with a good salary that will bring them joy, provide for their needs, and glorify you Lord. Help them to be content and find purpose in their current circumstances as they wait on Your timing. We also pray that talking positively about Jesus Christ or being a Christian will not be restricted or hampered in anyway, directly or indirectly at the place of employment. Amen.
We pray for a godly spouse for them, someone who loves you Lord and will love and cherish them as You designed. Give Amenarenos the wisdom, godliness, holiness, knowledge and counsel in the Bible to prepare them for a godly marriage, help them to grow spiritually, be helped by other Christians, and grant them patience to wait on Your perfect plan. Marriage lord that is committed and reverences God and his laws.
In the Sophia of Jesus Christ. Sophia is the wisdom of God. We pray these things. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God's will in all areas of your life. It might be that staying a bachelor or spinster might be the way Lord. The best either temporal or heavenly is to live a chaste life and love the Lord with all your heart. Keep pursuing a holiness and righteousness in all your ways by reading, understanding, and applying the Word of God in your life. Do not forget, it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that your prayers can be heard. God bless you. Also in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB states: "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
