We join with you, ###, in lifting up your concerns about the remnants of hurricane ### to our loving and merciful Father in heaven. We trust in the power of prayer, knowing that "the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much" (James 5:16, WEB).

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention and protection over ###. As the remnants of hurricane ### approach, we pray that You would lessen the severity of the rains and prevent any flooding. We ask that You would direct the path of the storm and dissipate its strength, even blowing it out to sea according to Your will.
We trust in Your power and might, God, for You are the one who commands even the winds and the waves, and they obey You (Matthew 8:27, WEB). We ask for Your peace to fill the hearts of all those who may be anxious or fearful, knowing that Your perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18, WEB).
