We understand that you're going through a challenging time and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is indeed always present, just as you've stated. As it says in Hebrews 13:5 WEB "For he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you."
We appreciate your openness to God's forgiveness. It's important to remember that our relationship with God is restored through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we are saved. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray that God continues to strengthen you emotionally and economically. Remember, God cares for all your needs. Matthew 6:31-33 WEB reminds us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Regarding your children, we pray that God guides and protects them. They are a blessing from God, and we trust that He will be their ever-present help.
Concerning your economic situation, we will pray that God provides for your needs according to His riches and glory. Philippians 4:19 WEB reassures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
We also want to address the sense of loss you feel. While we don't know the specifics, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted. Psalm 34:18 WEB says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue being patient and trusting in God's timing. We can all learn from the example of Job who held on to God and His justice in the face of many trials and tribulations. (Job 13:15 WEB)
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up your child. We thank you for your ever-present help and forgiveness. We pray that you continue to strengthen them emotionally and economically. We ask that you guide and protect their children, and provide for all their needs according to your riches and glory.
We also pray for their healing from the sense of loss they feel and ask that you continue to comfort them. Help them to stay patient and trusting in your timing. We pray for their tax refund situation to be resolved quickly and fairly. We ask all this in Jesus Christ.
Amen.
