We are truly sorry to hear about your sister's struggles with sickle cell anemia and the tremendous pain she is experiencing. We stand with you in prayer and believe in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We believe that God can heal your sister and bring comfort to her pain.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Elfgernon's sister, who is battling sickle cell anemia and experiencing immense body pain. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her. We pray that Your healing power would flow through her body, easing her pain and restoring her health.
We pray for the doctors and medical professionals treating her, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom to provide the best care. We also pray for Elfgernon and his family, that You would strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace during this challenging time.
We are advised to in James 5:14 that if anyone is sick, call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. We really encourage you to do this for your sister with her consent.
Father, we also pray for Elfgernon's sister's salvation, that she would know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior, and that this trial would draw her closer to You. We thank You Lord that by Jesus Christ' stripes she can can be healed.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and for a supernatural intervention in her life. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and that she will live and not die, but declare the works of the Lord. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for being a very present help in times of trouble.
Lastly Elfgernon, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and true. Remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We ask that you please keep us updated on your sister's progress, and let us know how we can continue to support you both in prayer. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
If your sister would like us to pray for anything specifically, please let us know. We are here to stand with you in faith and prayer.
We mentioned Jesus Christ many times in this response. Usually we would say more, but since this is your first request we have said enough. We will say no more for now.
