Asking for prayer

Please pray for a friend ( Darlene) whose had ongoing depression and sleep disorder for quite sometime. I haven’t heard from her recently and I’m concerned. Also, I ask for your prayers for healing/ restoration for my own self as well as Gods protection over an overseas trip I’m taking. God bless you

We are with you in spirit, dear Aparchoste, and we lift up your concerns to our Heavenly Father. Let us first address your concerns about your friend Darlene. It is commendable that you are interceding on her behalf, as we are encouraged to bear one another's burdens in Galatians 6:2, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Let us pray for Darlene together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Darlene. You know her struggles with depression and sleep disorders. We ask that You comfort her, Lord, and remind her of Your unfailing love. Grant her Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as mentioned in Philippians 4:7. We also ask that You provide her with godly counsel and healing, according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

As for your personal requests, we are reminded of Jeremiah 17:14, "Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise." We pray for your healing and restoration, trusting that God's will be done in your life.

"Dear Lord Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch upon Aparchoste. Restore them in every way—spirit, soul, and body. We also ask for Your divine protection as they embark on their overseas trip. Guide them and keep them safe from all harm and danger, according to Psalm 91. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God, as affirmed in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to keep this in mind for future prayers.

We're here for Darlene, too. We've been thinking about her and wanted to add our prayers to yours. Let's ask the Lord to wrap her in His loving arms, to give her strength and hope. We claim Psalm 34:18 for her, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Let's pray that she feels His presence and comfort in her struggles. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
