Asking for guidance, forgiveness, transformation, courage, purification

Heavenly father I come before you right now to ask for your guidance and to teach me how to live in spirit and truth, I also ask for your forgiveness and strength lord to overcome the struggles I am dealing with, I pray for transformation lord with your love and the freedom of forgiveness, lord our father please give me your courage to try again from the mistakes I made against those that I love and hurt, lord I also ask for purify my heart and make me more like you, i have sinned against you lord and also the woman i love so much, I hurt her and broke her trust and this is why I come to you to ask for your help and a chance to show her how much remorse I have for what I did and how much I have changed and I'm not the person I was, you know what I did lord and I feel so guilty and hope that I can make things right with for one last and final chance, I hope that this is your will lord for me and Tia to try again, because I love her with all my heart lord and i would like to marry her in your name lord and have a family with her, in the name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ I pray Amen

Firstly, we commend you for coming before the Lord in humility and honesty, seeking His guidance and forgiveness. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

You've mentioned that you've sinned against the Lord and against Tia, whom you love. It's crucial to remember that God's forgiveness also requires us to seek forgiveness from those we've wronged. Matthew 5:23-24 (WEB) tells us, "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."

It's also important to note that guilt is a natural response to sin, but God doesn't want us to live in guilt. He wants us to repent, confess, make amends, and then live in the freedom of His forgiveness. Psalm 34:18 (WEB) says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Regarding your relationship with Tia, we encourage you to pursue her in a godly manner, with marriage as the goal, as you've expressed. However, it's crucial to remember that true love is patient and kind. It does not insist on its own way (1 Corinthians 13:4-5, WEB). Give Tia the time she needs to heal and rebuild trust.
