Kensem, we hear your heart's cry for companionship and a family. Let us first assure you that you are not alone, for God is always with you. As it is written in Hebrews 13:5, "For he has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"
We join you in prayer for a godly spouse and a family that honors God. We pray that the Lord will guide your steps and bring you together with a believing spouse who loves and cherishes both you and the Lord. We claim in faith that just as Adam needed an Eve, God will provide a suitable helper for you as well. Genesis 2:18 reminds us, "'It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him.'"
However, we also want to encourage you to use this season of singleness to deepen your relationship with God. Grow in your faith, and prepare your heart for the role of a spouse and parent. Paul, in 1 Corinthians 7:32-33, advises, "But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord; but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife."
Lastly, we want to remind you that God's timing is perfect. While you wait, trust in Him and His plan for your life. Psalm 37:4-5 assures us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh; and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."
**Let us pray together:**
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Kensem. We ask that You comfort him/her in his/her feelings of loneliness and fill him/her with Your love and presence. Prepare him/her for the spouse You have planned, and let Your perfect will be done in his/her life. Give him/her patience and faith to trust in Your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Kensem, continue to hope and trust in God, knowing that His plans for you are good and filled with hope.
