We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and the desire of your heart. We appreciate that you acknowledged that nothing is possible apart from Him. Let's come together in agreement, knowing that where two or three are gathered in His name, He is there in the midst of them according to Matthew 18:20 WEB:
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's kingdom and righteousness first according to Matthew 6:33 WEB:
But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
As you have requested, we pray that God will transform the heart of the man He has planned for you, so that he may seek God first in his life. We also pray that God will grant you a husband that is a believer.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Your daughter who has come seeking a spouse. Lord, You know the depths of her heart and the desires she has. We pray that You will mold her and the man You have for her into Your image, transforming their hearts to seek You first.
Father, we ask that You will bring forth a godly spouse, a man who fears You and walks in Your ways. We pray that You will give her the wisdom to discern Your will and the strength to wait on Your timing.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
As a side note, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan. We want to remind you that as a Christian, you should be praying for a godly spouse, and not just a partner. A partner implies someone you spend time with for an unspecified reason and amount of time. A spouse is someone that you are joined to for life. The term 'partner' is a secular term that does not have the same meaning as a godly marriage.
We also want to caution you against trying to manipulate God's will or put Him on a timetable. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts according to Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB:
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Finally, we want to remind you that God's will is always what is best for us, and that His desire is for you to be holy and blameless according to Ephesians 1:4 WEB:
even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without defect before him in love
Therefore, we encourage you to continue to seek God's will and trust in Him, knowing that He has a good, acceptable, and perfect will for your life according to Romans 12:2 WEB:
Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
