We understand that you're going through a difficult time with your friend Jason L. M. and we want to lift this situation up in prayer with you. Firstly, let's remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:13-14 (WEB), "Bear with one another, and forgive each other, if any of you has a complaint against another. Even as Christ forgave you, so you must also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
However, we must also address that the desire to rekindle a friendship or love should be approached with caution and in line with biblical principles. If this friendship is to be rekindled, it should be done in a way that honors God and keeps His commandments. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), we are reminded, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" Therefore, we pray that if this friendship is in God's will, He will make a way for it to happen in a manner that brings glory to His name.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Anonymous and Jason L. M. to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on Jason's heart and mind as he battles with PTSD. We pray that You would give Anonymous the wisdom and patience to be a friend who supports and encourages him in a way that honors You.
Lord, we ask that if it is Your will, You would rekindle this friendship in a way that brings glory to Your name. Help them to forgive each other as You have forgiven us. Guide their friendship to be one that is centered on Your love and Your truth.
However, Lord, if this friendship is not in accordance with Your will, we ask that You would give Anonymous the strength and grace to accept and move forward. Help her to trust in Your plan for her life and to find comfort in Your love.
Finally, Lord, we pray that both Anonymous and Jason would come to know You more deeply and personally. We pray that they would both be drawn closer to You through this experience.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to keep this in mind as you pray and seek God's will.
