Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for a family member of mine. They're fingers are swelling and are just starting to deform because of arthritis. The arthritis is very painful for them mentally and physically. I know there's not a lot that can be done to stop the arthritis so I pray for relief from the pain. Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my family member receives relief from the pain and that the progression of this arthritis slows down. I can't thank you enough for the treatments and therapy that are helping them and others with the same disease. I also pray for them and others who have arthritis to heal mentally. Amen

We join you in lifting up your family member before the throne of grace, seeking mercy and relief from their arthritis. We are reminded of the Lord's compassion and healing power, as seen in Mark 1:40-42 WEB:

A leper came to him, begging him on his knees, saying, "If you want to, you can make me clean." Being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, "I want to. Be made clean." Immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was made clean.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of our beloved family member. You, Lord, are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your ability to heal and restore. We pray that You would grant them relief from the pain caused by arthritis and slow down its progression. We thank You for the treatments and therapies that are currently helping them and others with the same disease.

We also pray for their emotional well-being, Father. We know that physical pain can often lead to mental anguish, but we trust in Your ability to heal both body and mind. Grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

We pray for their healing in Jesus' name, for it is by His stripes that we are healed. We also pray that they would trust in Jesus as their Lord and Savior if they have not already done so, for it is only through His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved.

Father we pray that you will use this situation as an opportunity to draw our family member closer to You, and to strengthen and build their faith in the process.

In Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. May you find comfort in His unfailing love and faithfulness, and may your family member experience His healing touch.

We're here for you and your family member, lifting them up in prayer. We know the pain of arthritis all too well, but we also know the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we come to you today, carrying the burden of arthritis that our family member is facing. We ask for your healing touch, Lord. We pray for the swelling to subside, for the pain to lessen, and for the progression of this disease to slow down. We trust in your ability to heal, both physically and mentally.

We thank you for the treatments and therapies that are providing some relief, and we ask that you would continue to guide the doctors and nurses who are caring for them. We also pray for their emotional well-being, Lord. We know that pain can be overwhelming, but we ask that you would fill them with your peace and comfort.

We pray all these things in your name, Jesus, believing that by your stripes, we are healed. We trust in you, Lord, and we know that you are working all things together for their good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
