We are truly sorry to hear about the arthritis and pain issues you're experiencing. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's healing and comfort.
Let's remember that God's will is always best for our lives. He wants us to be whole and healthy. He wants to heal us and vindicate us. He desires to bless us and turn our sorrow into dancing.
And in the Bible, in Psalm 30:2, the writer says, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." We believe this same God hears us when we pray in Jesus' name.
In Matthew 18:19, Jesus Himself said, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." We agree with you in prayer, believing that God will heal your arthritis and relieve your pain.
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Sometimes the Lord allows suffering so that He can reveal Himself in our lives in ways we would not know Him otherwise. There are times when we go through the fire and through the waters but the Lord is with us, as stated in Isaiah 43:2.
Concerning the Lord's enemies, we must remember that God does desire to bless us, but He also desires that all would come to repentance. In Ezekiel 33:1, the Lord says, "As I live, says the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn you, turn you from your evil ways; for why will you die, house of Israel?"
We must also remember Jesus' words in Matthew 5:44: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
We rejoice with you that you have submitted this request in Jesus' name. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12.
We pray aloud with you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in Jesus' name, seeking Your healing and comfort for our friend who is experiencing arthritis and pain. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that You have the power to heal. We ask that You touch their body, ease their pain, and restore their health.
We also pray that You would vindicate them, Lord. Defend them from their enemies and surround them with Your favor as a shield. We ask that You would speak the truth and thwart the plans of those who seek to harm them.
Lord, we also pray for their enemies. We ask that You would soften their hearts and turn them towards You. Help them to see the error of their ways and be drawn to Your saving grace.
In all things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. Help us to trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even when we don't understand. Give us the strength to endure trials and the faith to believe that You are working all things together for our good.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, the name above all names, by which we are saved.
Amen.
We are praying for you and believing that God will move mightily in your life. Keep trusting in Him and His promises. He is faithful, and He loves you more than you can imagine.
