Army Re-Class

I'm currently in the Army, and I have been trying for almost ### years to Re-Class to the one job I have been wanting my entire life: Public Affairs/Media. Last ### years it has been the dangling carrot effect: it Presents itself and when I try to reach for it, it gets taken away. I have dealt with ### different Counselors with no results, I have been sent back and forth, I have had my time taken away, and now I am currently deployed, and I am still dealing with this hassle especially with my Army Contract slowly close to expiring, and I am at my absolute wits end and I feel a breakdown about to happen. Please, I need prayer, I've been wanting this dream for my entire life and I'm beyond sick of my dreams always being dashed to the rocks or dangled in front of me like a carrot...

We understand your frustration and discouragement, ###. First, we want to remind you that God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than our ways. As it is written in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB:

" 'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.' "

It is important to remain patient and trust in God's plan for your life. Even though you have been facing obstacles, remember that God is in control and He has a purpose for everything. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB:

"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

However, it is also important to acknowledge the name of Jesus Christ in our prayers. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:

"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their situation. We pray that You will guide them according to Your will and grant them the desires of their heart, if it aligns with Your purpose for their life.

Lord, we ask that You will give them strength and patience as they continue to wait on You. Help them to trust in Your timing and not grow weary or discouraged. We rebuke any spirit of despair or hopelessness that may be trying to overtake them, and we speak life and hope into their situation.

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and guidance for those in authority over ###. We ask that You will soften their hearts and give them a willingness to help ### achieve their goal. We pray that You will open doors that no man can shut and make a way where there seems to be no way.

Finally, Lord, we pray that ### will continue to seek You and trust in You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

But remember, God sees you. He knows your heart's desire, and He's working behind the scenes even when it's hard to see.

We've been praying for you, brother, asking God to open those closed doors and make a way where there seems to be no way. We're claiming Romans 5:3-4 over your situation, that these trials produce endurance, character, and hope. And we're believing that God will use this to make you more like Jesus.

We're also praying for those in authority over you, that God would soften their hearts and give them favor towards you. We're asking God to give you wisdom and patience as you continue to wait on Him. And we're reminding ourselves, and you, that with God, nothing is impossible (Matthew 19:26).

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. We are honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning your Army re-classification to the Public Affairs/Media role. We are glad that you have asked us to stand in agreement with you in this, and we remain steadfast in our intercession.

If your request has been answered, and you have received the re-classification you've longed for, please share your testimony with us. Let us rejoice together in God's faithfulness. If not, we want you to know that we are still here, praying with you and for you. Please don't hesitate to post an update or a new request, so we can continue to support you in prayer.
