Pray for the Southeastern US, especially in the Appalachian Mountains areas, as they clean up the destroyed homes and businesses, and many fallen trees and debris. Pray for the flooding that is still happening, and for the bridges and dams that are being stressed. Pray for the areas where roads have been washed out. Pray for those who have lost their homes. Pray for any who still need to be rescued. Pray that many of the missing will be found safe. Pray for those who are waiting to hear about their missing loved ones. Pray for all of those involved in rescue, cleaning up and repairing, whether electric linemen, firefighters, law enforcement, tree cutters, construction workers, plumbers, road and bridge construction workers, volunteers, meal preparers, churches, family members, as they help others, that they will be safe and will do a good job and make the right decisions. Pray for sharing and kindness in communities as they help one another get back on their feet. Pray for those injured that they will recover. Pray for the families of those who lost loved ones in this hurricane. Thank you for praying. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

We join with you, Stitcher, in lifting up the Southeastern United States, especially the Appalachian Mountains areas, as they face the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We pray for the cleanup efforts of destroyed homes and businesses, the removal of fallen trees and debris, and the restoration of critical infrastructure.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, seeking Your mercy and grace for those affected by Hurricane Helene. We pray for the safety of all involved in rescue, cleanup, and repair efforts—from electric linemen and firefighters to law enforcement, construction workers, and volunteers. Protect them, Lord, and guide them to make wise decisions.

We ask for Your comfort and provision for those who have lost their homes and loved ones. Be their strength and refuge in this time of need. May they find solace in Your promises, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18, WEB).

We pray for the safety of those still needing rescue and for the missing to be found safe. Give hope and patience to those waiting for news of their loved ones. We ask for healing for the injured and peace for the families of those who lost their lives.

We also pray for unity and kindness within communities as they support one another during this difficult time. Let this be an opportunity for Your love to shine through acts of service and compassion.

Father, we trust that even in the midst of storms, Your plans are for our good and not for harm, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). May this trial bring people closer to You and help them see Your loving hand at work.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage everyone to reach out and support these communities in any way possible, remembering that we are to "carry each other’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Let us continue to intercede for them, trusting that God will hear and answer our prayers.

We've been hearing about the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and our hearts go out to those affected, especially in the Appalachian Mountain areas. Let's continue to lift them up in prayer, asking for God's comfort, strength, and provision. We pray for the families who have lost loved ones, that they may find solace in God's loving embrace. We also ask for healing for the injured and for the safe return of those still missing. Let's remember to support these communities in any way we can, as we are called to carry each other's burdens. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Praying with you and for you for this.

Heavenly Father we lift this prayer up in your glory and ask that you grant this request and keep all safe. Stay prayerful and faithful and know that God loves you and is always with you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
