The expectation of our Messiah's arrival had been etched in millions of believers for such a long, long time. Many believed that they would be alive to witness this glorious event. Still this wasn't the time to pause or rest from Godly deeds and just coast their way until the Messiah appeared. Quite the contrary. One person in fact, did not waiver in any way and entrenched himself deeper in Godly obediance. His conviction to serve God was exemplary and his courage was formidable. He had been tasked to prepare the way for the return of the Messiah. This person was fearless and would challenged any leaders who sinned.

John [the Baptist] also publicly criticized Herod Antipas, the ruler of Galilee, for marrying Herodias, his brother’s wife, and for many other wrongs he had done.
- Luke 3:19 -

Today many believe that our Lord's coming is eminent and I do hope it is. But let me ask this question. Are many Christians coasting along just waiting for Jesus to return? Are some turning a blind eye to evil? Or are we actively participating in spreading the Gospel and correcting wrong doing?

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.
- Proverbs 31:8 -

Suppose you see a brother or sister who has no food or clothing, and you say, “Good-bye and have a good day; stay warm and eat well”—but then you don’t give that person any food or clothing. What good does that do?"
- James 2:15-16 -

If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them.
- James 4:17 -

'To ignore evil is to become an accomplice to it.”
- Martin Luther King Jr. -

We do not turn our eyes on evil. We do not pay evil with evil, but we voice and stand against it. We resist evil. Be of good courage and actively participate in His message. Stand up for Jesus.

The Kingdom of God is nigh. Are you still standing?

Amen! Some of us stand for Jesus because He has presented situations for us that we truly needed Jesus and Jesus Prevailed and Proved Himself to us even to the point of convicting us to continue to stand when we could have ran to our deaths. I Love to share what Jesus has done for me for it can give the other person some extreme ability to Stand in Jesus themselves!

Yes, we all are standing firm in the promise of Jesus. I am going to prepare a place for you, that where I am, there you may be also. Those words should touch our hearts and minds and believe, trust and wait for those events to happen anytime soon. The signs are right here for us to see. Climate change is making all of us fear of what the weather will bring to us. Forest fires, water shortage, hurricanes, hunger and thrist. Only Jesus will deliver us from what is coming to earth. Keep fasting, keep praying to God almighty. He will deliver us from what is to come.

Thank you for sharing my friend. I think you may have miss the point of this blog.
Many Christians have different interpretation of rapture. Pre, mid, post and some don't even think rapture is biblical. My blog was not about rapture but remaining loyal to Jesus through thick and thin.

We still need to do His work. Many of our brothers and sisters have been persecuted and brutalized during the last two millennium. Do we have what it takes to stay on course like some of those Christians did? Will we be devastated if we are still here 50 years from now being persecuted
? Will we still stand with Jesus and continue His work?

We Must Through Many Tribulations Enter the Kingdom of God – Acts 14:22

This blog is not about rapture but endurance.

...with Love
