Are the coronavirus restrictions unGodly?

  1. Christine Christine:
How is it that the Holy Spirit is upon Simeon in Luke 2:25, before Jesus left the earth and promised the Holy Spirit would come?
  2. Articles Articles:
🙏 The Holy Spirit was active before Jesus' ascension. In the OT, the Spirit filled individuals for specific tasks (Ex 31:3). Simeon, guided by the Spirit, saw Jesus as the promised Messiah (Luke 2:25-27). Jesus later sent the Spirit to indwell all believers (John 14:16-17). Trust Jesus for understanding! 💖
  3. Christine Christine:
    interesting.
  4. Articles Articles:
🙏 The Holy Spirit's work is indeed fascinating! Even before Pentecost, the Spirit moved in people's lives, like with Simeon. It's a beautiful reminder that God's plan has always been in motion. "The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit" (John 3:8). Trust Jesus to reveal more of Himself to you! 💖

It's one thing to dislike the dictatorship- like restrictions, but now the question is, are they telling us to be unGodly? Taking a look at at it, I would have to say, yes. And here's my evidence ,why I believe so, the Bible states, "do not neglect the gathering of yourselves together".But if the law now forbids us to go to church, if the Bible says, DO NOT neglect the gathering of yourselves together, and the governor says we should, do we listen to an elected politician at the expense of disobeying God?Pastors have been arrested for holding church services.Second, evangelism...how can we hand out gospel tracts from 6 feet away? Third, God said,"Be fruitful and multiply. How can we be fruitful and multiply if the husband and wife are 6 feet apart? Uh huh..also,in the Lords prayer it states"Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven."As it is in Heaven...do you think in Heaven we'll be wearing masks and standing 6 feet apart, and terrified of a sickness? Is that Gods will being done on Earth as it is in Heaven? Also, the Golden Rule.."love your neighbor as you love yourself". By walking around someone ,avoiding them like they're contaminated, that's being fearful of your neighbor, not loving them as ourselves, because we don't fear ourselves and treat ourselves as contaminated. Also, I think these instructions from unsaved people are given out of fear.God did not give us the spirit of fear. By "giving in" to these actions, to me, it's like announcing that we ARE afraid. When the storm was on the sea of Galilee, was Jesus afraid?Do you think Jesus in the time of coronavirus would have worn a mask and walked around people because He was afraid to catch it?Come on.Yes the Bible states honor our leaders, and Jesus said render unto Caesar what is Caesars. But like Christians are quick to also point out, UNLESS the rulers want us to do something that conflicts with Gods instructions.Proof--when the Antichrist comes, the Tribulation saints get martyred instead of take the mark.Because following Gods instructions supercedes following our human leaders instructions. So are the coronavirus restrictions un Godly? In most aspects of it, I think so.Remember, these people are looking at it from a worldly viewpoint, with worldly solutions. I understand, they don't know, they're unsaved. But if some want to do something unGodly, don't make me follow along too. Make the decision, which is stronger,God or coronavirus. Man cannot serve 2 masters, for he will love the one and hate the other.

This issue can be so troubling to many. The old testament does have some isolation rules with respect to leprosy and other maladies. The infected were not permitted to mingle with love ones. But today they are isolating the healthy-ones as well, fearing for their safety. Those isolation rules found in the bible are not the same as the predicament we are in today.
As Steven mentioned we must love our neighbors. Love has ZERO fear.
There is no fear in love: true love has no room for fear, because where fear is, there is pain; and he who is not free from fear is not complete in love. - 1 John 4:18
And there lies the conundrum. We must not panic over this virus for it will rob the individual of their love and faith. First seek the kingdom of God...
But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matt 6:33
I love you all brothers and sisters, and I realize that these restrictions are making it difficult to fellowship. I realize that in many places it's an outright law under an emergency act that is strictly enforced. But be viligent that our Christian rights are not trampled on. Don't fear, it's a spiritual killer.

"Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves" -Matthew 10:16

In eternity God planned a will. This will was hidden in Him; hence, it was a mystery. In His wisdom and prudence He has made this hidden mystery known to us through His revelation in Christ, that is through Christ incarnation, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension.

Rev. 4:11 You have created all things and because of your will they were, and were created.
God is a God of purpose, having a will of His own pleasure. He created all things for His will that He might accomplish and fulfill His purpose. His creation is related to His will.

I'm an elderly man with c.o.p.d. and heart trouble, I wear a mask and distance myself from others to protect them, not myself. I'm not afraid of the virus but wouldn't want to give it to someone else.

YES!
I have kidney cancer and have other underlying conditions but don't wear a mask unless told to do so at like a hospital even then I take that darn thing off asap.
I don't fear this thing it is prophesied in the end times there will be faming and pestilence's Wearing a mask shows who your king is man or God. Did Jesus wear a mask when healing Lepers'? No! he did not.
We ought to obey him not man other than in situations to keep the peace it's ungodly and mans usurpations upon us.
The mark will come from this or these kinds of things don't give for lack of the right word away the holy spirit don't grieve it away just thought of it lol the spirit taught me just now.
so yes the church has failed us they should of stayed open not go to Face Book or Skype.
Exousia is the word that was translated into power and that is a false teaching. Exousia means Liberty not power
According to the Bible when the “voice of the people” elected Saul and established a government under his authority, God called it a “rejection” of Him.
“And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.” 1 Samuel 8:7
This would have been a better translation for it agrees better with the theme of scripture now power.
“Let every soul be subject unto the higher liberty. For there is no liberty but of God: the liberties that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the liberty, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the liberty? Do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same.” Romans 13: 1,3
OR this from Strongs:
Thayer's Greek Lexicon:

̓́

exousia

1) power of choice, liberty of doing as one pleases

1a) leave or permission
This truth needs seen and heard I can't do no less for as a watcher assigned by the holy spirit long ago and someone who has the discernment gift of the holy spirit this is truth.
So yes most certainly they are they are of the Devil not God.

Bible states honor our leaders, and Jesus said render unto Caesar what is Caesars
This was a wrong way to say that, as I stated in my thing to you about Exousia meant liberty.
So render to Caesar means or should of been said if he's your king then by all means obey him but If god is then obey him.
I'm not some weirdo kid who know nothing of what I say. I even before picking up the bible prayed for the holy spirit to lead and guide me in all truth.
I also over the years have done extensive research into this especially Romans 13 and That one. For one when you read the bible you should get there is a them in it, and as Romans 13 reads it goes against that theme so it's mistranslated.
Liberty is was and always will be truth. Free will as most say isn't quite it, but liberty is. We have the right to follow Christ as we will on our own, not as told by church leaders they lie and have lied. All of them in some way or other have I don't care...!!! Especially when you read things like in Judges where Gideon says to them when they wanted to elect him king over them. "What should I a man rule over you?" NO man should rule over us we are to be a peculiar people and different from all the Gentile Nations. This was Gods plan all along for all mankind, but atheists refuse and Christians seem to be content in lip service only.
So now were in Bondage again. Not my fault nor your probably but we are. So again yes most as soundly yes these restrictions are of the world of which were not to be part of...

I agree it's like we have to "pretend" to be afraid even though we have faith that we won't get it.Also, the charecteristics of that mindset--a mask, meaning it's not your natural face. Who pretends to be what he's not?the devil, transforming himself into an angel of light when he's really trying to deceive. Also, I see not only are people inside and afraid of their neighbors, but I notice their blinds are tightly drawn shut. {In other words, shutting out outside light}.Where does the devil, and people into serious sins operate? In darkness. The Gospel is called the Light of the world. And as you say, would Jesus have worn a mask? We're told resist the devil, and he will flee from you, not"Flee from him."But if others want to do it, I don't make fun of them.Like the Bible states, he who is weak eats only vegetables, and he who is strong eats meat.I think the fair thing is, let the ones who want to show fear, do it,but those of us with stronger faith shouldn't be forced to cave to the others, either, in fairness.
Also, they're so pesimistic,,no matter what date the other side sets , the Democrats, and those pessimistic drs, keep setting back the date, and "warning of dire consequences. To them it will NEVER end.Because they're pessimistic, the rest of us have to endure these Sharia law like restrictions?

God only knows. I believe this is the end times Tribulations, but we will have to see I guess.
Blessings!
Yes Jesus said pestilence would be a sign of the last days.So I was surprised when a lot of Christians were freaking out also. With the Democrats , I get the impression it's just a power thing, a control thing. And those pessimistic drs.It seems there might be more than meets the eye why they want to drag this thing on forever.

We went in to lock down 26.3.20,
Isaiah 26:3, 20
3, You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.
20, Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.

There are many examples in the bible of isolation, you might see a plague an isolation and a victory story if you read the old testiment..

Leviticus 13v46
As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.

We have already had a church which had a case, thanks to our heavenly Father all are good..

Pastor Rays revelation
In my prayer time & devotion time. I ask this
What on earth is happening Lord?
This Covid-19 pandemic is creating havoc worldwide.
Im taken back to The 1st & 2nd Commandment in Exodus 20:3-5
““You shall have no other gods before Me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,”

Vs 7.
“You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20:3-5, 7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Its a heads up to the World. If you look closely at Current events. The LORD is bringing these idols down!
The god of me myself & I,
The monetary system god, god of economies, god of Sport, god of Entertainment, god of self-gratification, god of materialism, governmental systems god, religious gods, even gods created within our own Christian church?!note even Christian gatherings worldwide halted, which means missions on hold...etc.

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46:10‬ ‭

It’s a reminder to us that the creator of marriage , the creator of family, holds HIS creation(Humanity) in high regard.
The evidence is before us, Sports events cancelled world wide, music concerts cancelled worldwide, movies & entertainment cancelled, world economies on the brink of collapse, job losses, monetary systems stretched, travel world wide is halted and what is left for us to do?

We are called as Communities & families to pull together, governments have had to lay down their agendas..
Is this is a reminder & warning that time is near.? “For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.”
‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭5:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Let us make things right with the LORD first ,with one another....Forgive, forget & find everything we need in JESUS.
It’s all clear in HIS good news. The Holy Bible.

We say & sing ‘I Love You Lord’ and yet we are still self-righteous & judgemental, thinking we know it all (even Pastors) we say we forgive but still show the evidence that ,that is not so? we claim humility & respect but still hold on to pride, we pursue self always...in material things, in ministry in worship even in ministry etc...etc.
I ask myself where are these Godly self proclaiming tongues speaking apostles prophets and healers of today, with power...shouldn't they get into action and operate in their so-called gifting from God, where are they when we need them. Or are they in self isolation?
Maybe we need to Get back to the basics..the Truth of Gods Word.
We cannot continue to proclaim the power of the Holy Spirit and claim this and that , when it is not so. HE the Holy Spirit is All Powerful at all times and it would be evident...in a massive way!!!

Conclusion is this?

“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭7:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
