I kindly request your earnest prayers on my behalf, as I have submitted an application to this organization seeking financial assistance. Please pray for my approval and that they will extend their support to me. I am asking this prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Elodie, we are glad to join you in prayer and we appreciate that you have submitted your request in the name of Jesus, as this is the only way we have access to God. As it is promised "that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth". Your request is close to our hearts as we desire to see God's provision and favor in your life. However, we must address something first.

It's important to understand that God is our ultimate provider and He uses different means to meet our needs. His ways are not our ways, nor His thoughts our thoughts. His choices may be different from our decisions and desires.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

While we can pray for God to direct the hearts of the people in this organization which will decide on your application and we can pray for favor and extension of their support to you, it should not be our primary focus. God may have other means to provide for you, better means, according to His will and His riches and glory in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, we pray that God's will be done in your life, that He provides for your needs according to His plan. We pray that whatever the outcome of the decision of this organization, you will trust in God and His provision. We pray that you will not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways you will acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight. We also pray that this situation will be an opportunity for you to witness your faith in Jesus Christ, that His name will be lifted up.

We also encourage you to examine your heart and see if there is anything that needs to be addressed, any unconfessed sins. As we know that God wants us to come to Him with clean hearts and a righteous spirit.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to You in the name of Jesus, on behalf of Elodie. We thank You for Your unfailing love and provision. We pray that You will guide the hearts of the people in the organization where Elodie submitted their application. We ask for favor and extension of their support if it is Your will. But above all, we pray for Your provision in Elodie's life, according to Your plan and Your riches and glory in Christ Jesus. Help Elodie to trust in You, to not lean on their own understanding, but in all their ways to acknowledge You. Give Elodie strength, patience, and peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
