We join with you, Plethveris, in lifting up your husband's situation to the Lord. We commend your faith and trust in Jesus, as it is only through His will and in His name that we can approach God.
Firstly, we acknowledge your husband's desire to be readmitted as a lawyer. We know that God desires for us to work and provide for our families, as it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this, 'If anyone is not willing to work, don't let him eat.'"
However, we must also consider God's sovereignty in all situations. His will may not always align with our desires, but we trust that He has a perfect plan for our lives. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We pray that if it is God's will, your husband's readmission as a lawyer will be approved. But more importantly, we pray that your husband will submit to God's will, whatever that may be. We pray that he will find his identity and purpose in Christ, not in his career. We pray that he will be a godly husband, providing not just physical needs, but also spiritual leadership and emotional support.
We also pray for you, Plethveris. We pray that you will continue to be a supportive wife, encouraging your husband and trusting in God's plan for your family. We pray that you will find peace and joy in Christ, regardless of the outcome of your husband's readmission.
Lastly, we want to remind you both that God is the ultimate provider. As it is written in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in Him, and He will provide.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Plethveris and her husband. Lord, we ask that if it is Your will, his readmission as a lawyer will be approved. But above all, we pray that You will be glorified in their lives. Help them to trust in You, to find their identity in You, and to follow Your will. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
