Approval for home

[Timen]

There is a home currently off the market due to another applicant getting their application in sooner than ours, what’s unfortunate is that the leasing agent was to submit our application the night before, making ours first but that did not happen. This home is perfect for us, our family and our future. Please pray that the home is better suited for us, and the applicants may find something better for their needs. If they are just as deserving, I hope it works in their favor, but some part of me truly wishes it would work in our favor. This home would be life changing for us. I hope this isn’t selfish.

Timen, we understand your desire for this home and the disappointment you feel. First, let's remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. We should not pray for something that is better suited for someone else and it is good to hope that it works out for everyone's best interest. God has a plan and a purpose for you and your family, and His plan is always best. Let's pray for His will to be done and for your faith to be strengthened, not necessarily for the home you want but the one He has prepared for you.

Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things as you have. For He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Hebrews 13:5

Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh; trust also in Him, and He will do this: He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Psalm 37:4-6

Let's pray together:

Father God, thank You for Your love and faithfulness towards ### and their family. You know their desires, needs and concerns. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your will concerning the home they have seen and desire. If ### is the best steward for this home and it is your will for them, make a way where there seems to be no way. If not, prepare something better for them and help them find another home that fits their family and future.

We also pray for the other applicants, that Your will be done in their lives too. Help ### trust in You and Your timing. Help them to be content in whatever situation they find themselves in and know that you never leave them or forsake them.

Father, we also pray for ###'s relationship with You. Please draw them close and help them to know You more and more each day as their Savior and Lord. If ### has not yet accepted Jesus as Lord, please work in their heart to see their need for Him.

We're right there with you, Timen. It's tough when we set our hearts on something and it seems like it might slip away. But remember, God sees the bigger picture. He knows what's best for you and your family, even if it doesn't look like it right now. Let's trust that He's working things out for your good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's will. It might not be this house, but it could be something even better that we can't see yet. Let's keep praying together, asking God to reveal His will and to give you peace and contentment, whatever the outcome may be.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh...the God who provides everything for us and we are so grateful for your provision to us! Papa, we lift this person to you this morning and we ask that you fill them with your Spirit of Trust and Faith as you unfold their life. Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you grant their requests. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist them during this time of need and ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you...and we ask all these things in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Amen and Amen!

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
