Applying for rental assistance / gov’t assistance

Dear Father, I did not rush into applying for assistance because I thought that I would be able to find employment. At the moment the only option I see is to apply for assistance There are so many documents required and I’m a little hesitant to give all of the info. I don’t know if I’ll get the job in time or just apply to different programs. In the name of Jesus Christ please show me what to do. I prayed about dipping into certain of my established resources but I have no other choice. I feel like I’ll be judged by the agencies for not coming forward sooner or that they’ll look down on me. Also I live alone and as a woman there are so many predators both male and female. God help us all.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.

As for the agencies, they are there to help, and it's important not to assume that they will judge you. Even if someone were to look down on you, remember that God's opinion is what truly matters.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in need. Guide her as she applies for assistance, and help her to overcome any hesitation or fear. Provide her with the necessary documents and wisdom to complete the process. Protect her from predators and surround her with Your peace.
