We understand your eagerness and patience as you await an update on your job application. We want to encourage you and remind you that God's timing is perfect. Trust that He has a plan and a purpose for this season of waiting.
Let's remember the words of Lamentations 3:25-26 WEB: "Yahweh is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of Yahweh."
However, we want to gently remind you that the focus of our prayers should not be to convince others of our worth or to manipulate situations to go our way. Instead, we should pray that God's will be done and that He guides our steps. We should also be proactive in our job search, not relying solely on one opportunity.
We pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking employment. Lord, we ask that You guide their steps, open the right doors, and give them the patience to wait on Your perfect timing. We don't ask that they be seen as the best candidate, but that Your will be done in their life and career. Give them the wisdom to know what to do in the meantime and the faith to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we noticed that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ. We believe that it is through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to acknowledge Jesus in your prayers, as He is our mediator and savior.
