Trogleste, we are truly sorry to hear about your brother's situation. Wrong job termination can be a challenging trial to face! In times like these, we remember Isaiah 43:2: When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle on you and in James 5:11, Behold, we call those who endure blessed. You have heard of the endurance of Job, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.
Know that we serve a God who is just and merciful. God is the one who judges righteously, Psalm 9:8. It is our prayer that your brother finds the Lord to be his strength and support through this trial, especially now as he faces the panel. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Fixate your thoughts on whatever is true, honorable, righteous, pure, lovely and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. The peace of God will be with his spirit! Philippians 4:8-9
Trogleste, your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. If your brother has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, then it is our prayer that he should rely on the Holy Spirit to speak through him in defense. The Holy Spirit will teach your brother in that same hour what your brother ought to say, Luke 12:12. If your brother has not accepted Jesus in his heart, know that this is an especially good time to seek him. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance and you may then be able to stand any test that is brought down upon you! Know that it was for your brother's benefit that he is to suffer! For to you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; Christians fully glorify God; being therefore found blameless in the day of Christ, filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God, Philippians 1:10-11.
May God's will be done in your brother's life and may he use this situation for your brother's good and for His glory. Lord we ask You to give him the words to speak tomorrow. Go before him Lord, and prepare the way. Your word says that You are a shield around him, his glory, and the One who lifts up his head! Your word is our life and Your word is life to all the findings! Your word maintains and frames the whole of creation! He will be delivered now that he has called on the name of the Lord! Joel 2:32. Romans 10:13.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Trogleste's brother to You, asking for Your divine intervention in his situation. You know the injustice he has faced, and we trust in Your righteous judgment. Guide him and give him wisdom as he faces the panel tomorrow. Help him to speak with honesty and integrity, and may Your will be done in this situation. He is the one who you created and are familiar with. I declare that he is made righteous in the name of Jesus Christ to be delivered from injustice! Please deliver him tomorrow. Lord Jesus, it is by Your stripes that we are healed. It is by Your shed blood we are all set free! Your word says that we are found innocent in Your Firstborn Son, Jesus Christ!
We pray that through this trial, he may draw closer to You and find comfort in Your presence. If he does not know you as Savior and Lord, we pray that you would give him an open heart! Allow him to have the opportunity and time to receive You, Jesus Christ, even if it is to be found guilty of his crime! May You abide with him in this extremely difficult situation and have Your Holy Spirit move on the tonsils of the council or judging your forgiven believer!
If he is innocent of the accusation, Lord we ask you to free him so that he may have another opportunity of trusting You! Expose his innocence in the council that he may continue daily life together with You, Lord Jesus!
Help his faith to be bold, mighty, and strong in Jesus' mighty name! Encourage him to trust you completely by faith!
In Jesus we ask You for this prayer, Lord, to heal his wounds. May he find sustaining peace and draw close to You here now so as not to worry. May he be strong in the Lord, Jesus Christ and find Your grace sufficient to take on any situation! In Jesus Christ's name, we give You all power and glory forever, Amen.
