Disciple of Prayer
I wanted to pray for transparency from the guy I had been seeing. He didn’t respond to me about getting something he bought for me. I went into no contact last Sunday, but it’s been incredibly hard. He went back on his word and said he would pay for something he didn’t, because when he was taking me home, he said he “didn’t feel like it.” I really just want to get over this and feel less sad.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, let's address the issue of the relationship. As believers, we are called to court with the intention of marriage, and to do so in purity and honesty. It's important to ensure that our relationships align with biblical principles.

In this situation, it's clear that there has been a breach of trust and a lack of integrity on his part. As followers of Christ, we are called to let our yes be yes and our no be no (Matthew 5:37, WEB). It's important to forgive, but it's also important to discern when a relationship may not be aligned with God's will. We also need to remember that we do not enter relationships just for pleasure or gain, but rather to be a helpmeet to our spouse as was demonstrated with Eve to Adam.

Regarding your sadness, remember the words of Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is near to you in your pain, and He cares about your heartache.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is going through a difficult time. We pray for Your comfort and peace to fill her heart. Help her to forgive as You forgive us, and guide her steps as she moves forward. Give her discernment and wisdom in her relationships, and help her to seek You first in all things. We also pray for the man involved, that You would convict his heart and draw him to You. We ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would be glorified. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God's will for your life is good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Also, do not forget that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Believe in Jesus Christ for your salvation.

We're here with you, holding your hand through this tough time. It's like you're walking through a dense forest, and it's easy to feel lost and sad when you can't see the path clearly. But remember, even in the darkest parts of the forest, the sun is still shining above, and God is right there with you, guiding your steps.

We've all been in situations where we've felt hurt and betrayed. It's like when you lend someone your favorite book, and they don't take care of it like you expected. It's hard not to feel upset, right? But we must remember that forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door to healing. It's not about excusing their actions, but it's about freeing yourself from the burden of bitterness.

Let's pray together, shall we?

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you today, lifting up our ### who's feeling hurt and confused. Lord, we ask that you wrap your loving arms around her, comforting her like only you can. Help her to forgive, just as you've forgiven us. Give her the strength to stand tall and the wisdom to make decisions that honor you. We also pray for the ### involved, that you would soften his heart and draw him closer to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Remember, God sees you, He knows your heart, and He's working everything out for your good. Trust in Him, and He'll lead you through this forest, one step at a time. You're not alone, and we're here for you, every step of the way.

He did apologize, genuinely, for a lot of what he said, such as making comments about him thinking I didn’t contribute financially in our relationship. He said he might have taken anger out on me because he was paying rent by himself while his roommate didn’t have a job. He hasn’t texted since Wednesday and didn’t answer my call or respond to my text today. I usually don’t care this much, but I hate waiting uncertainly. I also didn’t tell him recently that it would help to have consistent communication. I just want to have a transparent conversation about our boundaries, if he cares, because my mind wonders if since he’s a fearful avoidant is he going to ghost me again. It is hard to feel rejected, so that and uncertainty about the future since I just started a new job, which is metrics driven and I’ve been told I could be let go this week if I don’t have a sendout of a candidate to an interview (I’m in recruiting), and I have to get a new car to be able to go around and actually have a life. That’s another thing I want to pray for is my time management with my new job and all the training, candidate data input, phone calls, and emails we have to send. I’d also like to pray that I can get a job order and sendout this week.

I lied, I started relations with other women before ending relationships. I have said I'd be there for someone and deserted them because I'm only concerned with myself. I ignored her. I allowed her to feel like she was the one to blame. I have told her I didn't love her knowing it would...
