We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your loved ones are facing. We will stand with you in prayer and faith, believing in the power of Jesus' name for healing and restoration.
Firstly, we want to address the issue of your son's weight and apnea. While we will pray for his healing, it is also important to encourage him to take responsibility for his health. The Bible tells us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and that we should honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). This means that we should strive to take care of our physical health, eating and exercising responsibly.
We need to specifically address the request for a miracle.
As believers, we know that God is more than able to perform miracles. However, we also know from the Bible that we are to do everything possible to treat illnesses and miracles are not commonplace. Thus, we should not be waiting on a miracle to the exclusion of doing all we can do.
Even as we pray, we encourage you to seek medical attention for your son's apnea and weight issues. These are serious health matters that should be addressed promptly and comprehensively. Fornication is a common cause of these issues and this should be addressed.
We also want to lift up your mother, praying for her strength and healing. We trust that God, who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20 WEB), will touch her body and restore her mobility.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved mother and son. Lord, we pray for healing for the son's apnea and weight issues. Guide him and his loved ones to make wise decisions regarding his health, and give them the strength and discipline to follow through. We pray that he may always go out in your protection. We also ask for Your miraculous touch on the mother, that You would strengthen her and restore her mobility. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for their complete healing and restoration, and we ask that You would draw them all closer to You during this time. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to always pray in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. He is the only way to eternal life and the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
