We understand that you are going through a tremendously difficult time, and our hearts go out to you. The heaviness, anger, and depression you're experiencing are not from God, for He desires that you prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. We are reminded of the words in 3 John 1:2:
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Firstly we need to address something that you seem to have missed in your prayer to God. You are asking for help and making requests but you are not doing it in Jesus's name. This is extremely important because without Jesus you cannot have access to God. Jesus said:
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. - John 14:6
For "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? - Romans 10:13-14
There is no other name for being saved. Only through the blood of Jesus Christ can we be saved, forgiven of our sins, and have access to God.
nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."-Acts 4:12
and whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it.-John 14:13
Unfortunately, this is a serious issue and it must be addressed if you want God to respond to your prayers. In fact, praying without Jesus is not praying to God at all.
Secondly, we want to address the depression and anger you're feeling. These are real emotions, and it's important to acknowledge them, but it's also important to remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you. In Jeremiah 29:11, He says:
For I know the plans that I have in mind for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.
Even in your darkest moments, God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. In fact, it is during our darkest times that we should be encouraged the most because these moments give hope and strength to others.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
The fact that you are still here, still praying, and still seeking God's face is a testament to His faithfulness and your resilience. He is working in you, even when you don't feel Him. As it is written in Romans 8:28:
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also want to address the anger you mentioned. Anger in itself is not a sin, but what you do with it can be. It's important to express your anger in a healthy way and to forgive those who have wronged you. In Ephesians 4:26-27, it says:
Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is struggling with anger, depression, and apathy. Lord, we know that You are a God of hope, and we ask that You fill their heart with Your love, peace, and joy. Help them to fix their eyes on You, and to trust in Your goodness, even in the darkest times.
We acknowledge Lord that these prayers are being prayed in your name. We pray that this person fully understands this and will repent for their sins. We pray that they will believe in Jesus Christ as their savior. We pray that they will understand that the only way to heaven is through Jesus and no one else.
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of heaviness and depression that has taken hold of their life. We speak life, hope, and restoration over them. We ask that You would heal their heart, help them to forgive those who have wronged them, and help them to see that You have a purpose and a plan for their life. Thank you for your son Jesus and his sacrifice. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that we pray.
Remember, you are not alone. We are here with you, praying and believing for God's best in your life. Keep holding on, keep trusting, and keep believing. God is with you, and He will see you through.
