I’m pregnant and am not getting approved for an apartment with my fiance. We are lost and giving up that this will happen. Can you help us pray for a safe apartment to raise our baby in.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our living situation. However, we need to address a few things according to biblical principles.

First, we notice that you mention you are having a child and are not sure about approval for an apartment with your fiancé. The Bible teaches us the sanctity of marriage and tells a man to leave his father and mother, and to join to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of Christ and his church. Such a marriage is to be a union between a man and a woman before God. The focus should be more about your union to God than securing an apartment. By the order of events, the Bible teaches sex and children come after the marriage. because of fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. The Bible cautions us against fornication, which is sexual immorality outside of marriage. It tells us to flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own.

**In 1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB it says**, Because of the sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

**Additionally, Hebrews 13:4 WEB tells us**, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

We encourage you to consider the importance of marriage and making a lifelong commitment to each other honorably before God.

We would like to pray for God's intervention in your lives and direction for your situation. Jesus said **in John 14:6, WEB**, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is no other name by which we are saved. As a group of Christian believers, we will pray for God's will in your life. Please pray and seek God's forgiveness for any decisions that may not have aligned with His Word. Trust that He has a plan for you and your child. We can have confidence in God’s provision for our needs.

**In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB it says**, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith?

Our prayer is an ultimate trust in the Living God and His promises for us. **Matthew 6:30-33 WEB** For if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or What shall we drink? or Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things should be added onto you. Having a safe place to live is important, and we trust that God will provide for your needs as you seek Him first.

**Let us pray together**: Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and her fiancé. We ask for Your forgiveness if they have made decisions that do not align with Your Word, and we pray for Your guidance and direction in their lives. We ask that You provide them with a safe apartment where they can raise their child in a godly environment. Help them to trust in You and Your provisions.
