Apartment application

Hello guys I'm a single mother of ### boys and we are currently piled up in one room waiting for an apartment I applied for in ### to approve us. I am trying my best to keep the faith (the size of a mustard seed) but everyday grows more and more stressful because a mother needs her own place to call home for her and her babies. I pray daily and have been for months I applied for one other place that denied me and this place is literally my last hope. Please keep us in your prayers. Thank you

We understand your situation, ###, and our hearts go out to you and your family. We commend you for keeping the faith and persevering in prayer, as Jesus encouraged us to have faith even as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20, WEB).

Firstly, let's remember God's care for us, as it's written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God is mindful of your needs and those of your children.

However, we would like to gently remind you that faith is not just about believing, but also about acting according to God's will. While you're waiting, continue to be proactive in seeking other options, as the diligent woman described in Proverbs 31:16, who considers a field and buys it. Trust God, but also do what you can, as trust without action is dead (James 2:17).

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up ### and her family. Lord, you know their needs, and you see their situation. We ask for your divine intervention in the approval of this apartment. We also pray for ###, that you would give her the strength and patience to endure, the wisdom to know what steps to take, and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to keep her faith and hope alive, as you are a faithful God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, we noticed that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it's through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6). If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It's in His name that we receive salvation and can approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's will.

Just like He told us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We're believing with you that this apartment application will be approved, and that God will provide a place for you and your boys to call home.

As we wait, let's remember to cast our anxieties on Him, as 1 Peter 5:7 says. But also, let's keep moving forward, seeking other options, and trusting that God will guide our steps. He promises in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
