I am afraid you need to take medications, you can get worse if you don't. I tried but it didn't work without it. I take Sertraline 50mg 1 daily, it helps a lot.

Depression is an attack on the mind. It occurs when you feel a lack of hope. Doctors​

say it is anger turned inward. It happens when you feel anger at a boss or loved one and you feel you can't express it for fear of the loss of love or the loss of a job.
Satan will use this as an opportunity to attack your mind.​

Jesus defeated Satan at the cross and took away his tools of evil so he tries to attack your mind by putting
evil thoughts in your mind.​

You need to bind the Spirit of Heaviness and all evil spirits out of your mind.
Put on the full Armor of God and pray a hedge of protection around yourself.

The best thing you can do is get up and go do something fun or find some way to help others.
Here are some scriptures You can focus on for your mental health.

Rom.12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Phil.4:8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Eph.5:15-16 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things​

Here are some things to do that will help:

1. Exercise. Move the body...walk or run. 20-30 minutes of outside exercise.

2. What is one thing you enjoyed doing in the past? Find a day and time to spend 10 minutes doing that activity or something similar.

3. Journal...Write down your thoughts so you can get rid of the negative ones..

4. Stay away from negative media, posts, anything that triggers negative emotion.

5. Watch an inspirational movie - there are some great Christian movies out now.

6. Write down scripture or positive affirmations and put them in the bathroom and around house. Read them daily.

7. Do something for someone else. .
