We understand that you're feeling anxious at work, and we're here to support you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is important to pray in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, the Apostle Paul writes, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This verse reminds us that we should bring all our anxieties to God in prayer, and trust that He will give us His peace in return.
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anonymous who is feeling anxious at work. We pray that You will take away their anxiety and replace it with Your peace. Guide them through their tasks, and give them the wisdom and discernment to complete them well. We also pray for a comfortable working environment, one that is filled with mutual respect and kindness. Help Anonymous to be a light in their workplace, reflecting Your love to those around them. If there is anything in the work Anonymous is doing or the work environment that is not pleasing to you, make it evident.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to also seek God's will for your work situation. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, it says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Remember that you are ultimately serving God in your work, and He will equip you with what you need to do well.
Lastly, consider Psalm 139:23-24 WEB, "Search me, God, and know my heart. Try me, and know my thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." This is a reminder that sometimes God may want us to deal with something in our lives.
