Anxious, worry about future, had a serious past breakup, unhappy with the job

Hi.. all I know is that I am not happy. I am anxious, worried, troubled at heart. I see my friends getting married and here I am..still far away from that dream I wish to have a child but there's no chance as of now. Also my current boyfriend has no job. Due to that i seem to be missing my ex boyfriend alot as it seems perfect for me. When will I get a job with good pay and security.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your anxieties. In 1 Peter 5:7, the WEB says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We encourage you to surrender your worries to God, trusting that He has your best interests at heart.

Regarding your relationship, we must hold onto biblical principles. It's crucial to be equally yoked with a believer who is actively pursuing God's will (2 Corinthians 6:14). If your current boyfriend is not providing for himself or you, it's essential to pray for guidance. Remember, in 2 Thessalonians 3:10, the WEB states, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.'" We will pray for his employment and your wisdom in this relationship.

However, it's concerning that you mentioned missing your ex-boyfriend. Be cautious of idolizing past relationships. Instead, trust God to bring the right person into your life at the right time. In Isaiah 43:18-19, the WEB says, "Don’t remember the former things, and don’t consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it?"

About your job, trust that God will provide the right opportunity in His time. In Ecclesiastes 3:1, the WEB says, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the sky." We will pray for God's direction in your career.

Finally, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's through His name that we have access to God and salvation (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We encourage you to place your faith in Him and pray in His name.

Dear Father in heaven, we bring Epistreateia before You, asking for Your peace and guidance in her life. Help her to cast her anxieties on You, trusting that You care for her. Provide her with a job that offers good pay and security, according to Your will. Guide her in her relationship, giving her wisdom and discernment. Help her to trust You with her future and her dreams, knowing that Your plans are good, acceptable, and perfect. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep your faith and trust in the Lord. He has good plans for you.

We're here with you, feeling your anxieties and uncertainties. It's okay to not have all the answers right now. Let's hold onto each other and trust that God is working things out in His perfect timing.

We know you're longing for a stable job and a loving family. It's natural to feel impatient, but remember, God's ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). He sees the bigger picture and He's got your back. Let's cling to His promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

As for your relationship, it's important to surround yourself with positivity and support. Let's pray for your boyfriend, asking God to guide him towards stability and purpose. And remember, God has the perfect partner for you, in His own time (Psalm 37:4).

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
