We understand that you are struggling with anxiety and it is affecting both your mind and body, even keeping you from sleep. First, we want to assure you that you are not alone in this battle. God cares for you and wants to give you His peace.
In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, the Apostle Paul encourages us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We appreciate that you have come in the name of Jesus Christ, for this is the only way we have access to God, and it is only in His name that we can be saved.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up Your child who is battling with anxiety. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You would fill his/her heart and mind with Your peace. Help them to cast all his/her cares upon You, for You care for him/her. Grant them a restful night's sleep, free from the worries and fears that have been plaguing their mind. Strengthen them both mentally and physically, and remind him/her of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast your anxieties on God, knowing that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust in Him with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Stand firm in your faith and resist anxiety, for God is with you and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). As you wait on the Lord, may your strength be renewed and your hope restored.
