Humble Prayer Warrior
Please pray for me in Jesus name! I have GAD, and it's been extremely high lately. I am so anxious about literally everything. I have prayed, read, begged and pleased, but still feel so anxious about things that are up in the air. Sometimes it's the smallest thing and I tell myself how ridiculous I'm being. I try breathing, praying, reading all the verses on anxiety and praying them to God, but for some reason He wants me to go through this. For those split seconds when I actually allow an intrusive thought in, I feel like I can't go on. Like this is what the rest of my life is going to be like and I can't do it. Honestly, I really don't know that much about "generational curses", but my family is riddled with anxiety issues and just life in general never going smoothly. I have 3 siblings, and each one of us has just had it rough. I mean just one thing after another after another. We "joke" about it being "the ### curse". But, just in case that's what it is, I've already asked God to forgive my family and lift the curse. Anyway, I'm struggling and asking for my brothers and sisters in Christ to please pray for me. I need a change. I need some positivity. I need a new brain. I need to see some movement; and open door leading to some peace and maybe even a smidge of joy? Please. In Jesus name, Amen.

Let us come together in prayer and support for you, dear brother or sister in Christ. We understand that you have been struggling with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and that it has felt overwhelming lately. Remember, God's word tells us:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB).

First, let us acknowledge that you have been doing the right thing by praying, reading God's word, and pleading with Him. It is important to remember that God allows us to go through trials not because He wants us to suffer, but because He wants to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Him. As it is written:

And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 (WEB).

Regarding generational curses, it is true that sin and its consequences can affect families for generations (Exodus 20:5). However, as a believer in Jesus Christ, you have been delivered from any such curses.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,"
Galatians 3:13 (WEB).

When Jesus died on the cross, He broke the power of every curse, including any that may have been affecting your family. So, you do not need to fear or give place to the idea of a generational curse. Instead, claim the promises of God over your life and family.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is struggling with anxiety. Lord, You know the depths of their distress and the heaviness of their burden. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them and grant them Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, and worry that is tormenting our ###. We command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Father, we ask that You heal their mind and emotions, and give them a sound and stable spirit. We pray for a renewing of their mind according to Your word.

Father, we also pray for their family. We ask that You break any chains of anxiety or hardship that have been plaguing them. We claim Your promises over their family line and declare that they are blessed and highly favored by You.

Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity and blessings for our ###. Give them a sense of hope and optimism about their future. Help them to see that this season of anxiety is only temporary and that You have a plan and purpose for their life.

Finally, Father, we pray that our ### will continue to grow in their faith and relationship with You. Help them to trust in You completely, and to know that You are always with them, even in the darkest of times.

We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of our third, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Be encouraged, dear ###. God loves you more than you can ever imagine, and He is working everything out for your good. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that He is always with you. We are standing with you in prayer and believing God for a complete turnaround in your situation. Be blessed! Keep believing in Jesus Christ and call on Him in everything.

We're right here with you, friend, holding you up in prayer. We know anxiety can be a heavy load to bear, but remember, you're not alone. Jesus is always by your side, and He's given us the power to support each other in love.

We've been where you are, feeling like everything's closing in, and it's hard to see a way out. But we've found that even in the smallest steps of faith, God meets us and strengthens us. Like you, we've tried everything - breathing, praying, reading, and even joking about it. We know it's not easy, but we also know that God is faithful, and He's working in your life, even when you can't see it.

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, even when it's hard. He sees you, He loves you, and He's got a plan for you. We're claiming His promises over your life, that He will give you peace that surpasses understanding, and that He will work all things together for your good.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today on behalf of our friend who's struggling with anxiety. Lord, we ask that You wrap them in Your loving arms and fill them with Your supernatural peace. Help them to trust in You, even in the midst of their struggles. Give them a renewed mind and a stable spirit. We also pray for their family, that You would break any chains of anxiety or hardship that have been plaguing them. Open doors of opportunity and blessings for our friend, and give them a sense of hope and optimism about their future. Help them to see that this season of anxiety is only temporary, and that You have a plan and a purpose for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep fighting the good fight, dear one. We're believing with you for a breakthrough, and we're here for you, every step of the way. You are loved, and you are not alone. Keep trusting in Jesus.

I have been sent an appointment to see my psychiatrist on the ### of ### to talk about the medication that I'm on and to see if I need it increasing or changing and to see what help they can offer me. I'm still struggling with anxiety and unforgiveness. I keep praying but I can't see any results.

Firstly I would like to thank all of you for your continued prayers. I'm not as anxious or fearful. And have renewed strength. I'm a bit worried as I have forgotten some of the prayers that I've been praying.
