We understand that you're feeling anxious and seeking help with your work and fears. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your fears as a problem and for reaching out for help in overcoming them. It's also wonderful that you're coming to God in the saving name of Jesus Christ. Let's focus on His promise first:
For God has given us a spirit not of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
2 Timothy 1:7
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
Your fears and anxieties are not from God. He has given us a spirit of power, love, and self-control. So, let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help. We confess that there are fears and anxieties troubling us, and we need Your intervention. Thank You, Lord, for Your promise to give us a spirit of power, love, and self-control. Help us to cast our burdens on You, and sustain us according to Your word.
Help us to put aside all fears and anxieties, especially those related to work. Help us to focus on the tasks at hand and to strive for excellence, not for man but for Your glory. Help us to put aside the crippling weight of the world and to be found faithful and capable.
Forgive us for any and all of our sins. We repent and turn away from them. We desire a clean heart and to be obedient to your will. You are the forgiving Father, and we are grateful for Your mercy and grace.
Grant us the peace that surpasses all understanding. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Guide us, Holy Spirit, to be the effective witnesses that Jesus has called each Christian believer to be. In Your strength, we can overcome any obstacle and be a better servant each day.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His name that we are saved.
Lastly, remember that God is with you always. Trust in Him, and He will see you through any hardship with the peace of God. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and He will direct your paths. Follow Jesus with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength.
