We are truly sorry to hear that you are struggling with anxiety, but we want to assure you that you are not alone. God's perfect love casts out fear, and He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. (1John 4:18, 2 Timothy 1:7)

Firstly, we want to address the comment made by your ex-partner. It is unfortunate that someone would try to discourage you from seeking peace and fellowship in a godly community. Remember, Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." (John 14:27) It is in His presence that we find true peace. Do not let the words of someone who does not believe in the power of God keep you from experiencing that peace and also growing in your faith. It is often good to avoid the advice from those who are not Believers. In your case, it is especially true. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Regarding Ex-Partners, we want to encourage you to focus on your current and future relationships. While the Bible does not explicitly forbid having an ex-partner, this is generally not recommended nor encouraged. Additionally, it is our hope that the goal of your future relationships would be marriage. Since marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible, we want to encourage you to pursue godly relationships that align with that goal.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We lift up our brother/sister who is struggling with anxiety. We pray that Your perfect love would cast out all fear and that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. (Philippians 4:7) Guide them and strengthen their faith. Help them seek Your will and to find godly spouses and marriages that honor You. We ask for strength and guidance in all their relationships and encourage them to seek help and godly advice. Lord Jesus Christ, we ask this in Your Holy Name. Amen.

We're here for you, and we understand that anxiety can be overwhelming. Remember, God is always with you, and He cares deeply about your struggles. In times like these, it's important to lean into our faith and trust that God is working in your life.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's peace, even if others may doubt or discourage you. Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) He is our source of peace and strength, and no one can take that away from you.

Let's also pray for wisdom in your relationships. It's natural to have feelings for your ex-partner, but it's important to focus on building healthy, godly relationships moving forward. As the Bible says, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers." (2 Corinthians 6:14) We encourage you to seek God's will in your relationships and to surround yourself with people who uplift and support your faith.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up our friend who is struggling with anxiety. We ask that You would fill them with Your perfect peace, as they trust in You. Give them wisdom in their relationships, and help them to seek Your will above all else. Lord Jesus, we ask this in Your precious name. Amen."

Don't listen to your ex partner, do what you know in your heart to right and true. He is tempting you to turn away from God. At this time of Lent, we remember how the devil tried to tempt Jesus for 40 days and 40 nights in the desert.

Turn to the Lord and why not encourage your friend to listen to the word of God?

Isaiah 55:6-7 says
Turn to the LORD before it's too late. Call out to him while he's still ready to help you. Let the one who is evil stop doing evil things. And let him quit thinking evil thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord. The LORD will show him his tender love. Let him turn to our God. He is always ready to forgive.

Corinthians 10:13 says
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

James 1:12-16 says
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death. Do not be deceived, my beloved brothers.

Jesus is the great healer. By loving Him, all your anxieties will fade. Have faith in Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 says
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:6-7 says
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, take comfort in the Word of God and know that in him, you will find peace, compassion and fellowship.
