We understand that you're going through a challenging time, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. We're grateful to see that you've approached God through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only in Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. Jesus himself said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. This is why we pray in Jesus name. We appreciate your faith in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, God assures us that you should not worry or have anxiety about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, you should present your requests to God. We can be confident that if we do this, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. He assures that you do not need to be anxious about what you should eat, drink or wear, nor about tomorrow. He knows you need these things, but for you, seeking his kingdom and righteousness come first. All these other things will be added unto you.
However, while God promises peace and provision, we are also called to do our part. We are instructed to cast all our anxieties on him because he cares for you and go on to make sure our ways are committed to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this. He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justification as the noon day sun.
We see that the prophet of old cried out to God in the night and the LORD heard him and was full of compassion toward him. Be encouraged that The LORD is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Let's pray together:
Almighty God, we come before you lifting up our brother/sister in Christ, asking for your mercy and grace to surround them. Lord, you know the anxieties that plague their mind and body, and we ask for your healing touch to calm their mind and soul. Grant them the peace that transcends all understanding, and help them to rest in your loving arms. We pray in the name Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.
Now, let us encourage you to recall and meditate on God's promises. He said 'Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.' Isaiah 41:10. Remember Jesus himself said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Finally, we encourage you to seek Godly counsel and support from your local church and Christian community. Anxiety can be a complex issue, and it's important to address it holistically, considering both spiritual and practical aspects.
We leave you with this final benediction,
May the Lord of peace himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
