We understand that you're feeling extreme anxiety at work and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement. In fact, the Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious for anything" Philippians 4:6 WEB. First, let's address the anxiety you're feeling.
We are exhorted in the Bible not to worry or be anxious. In 1 Peter 5:7 it says “Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.” Also, in Proverbs 12:25 WEB. "Anxiety in a man's heart makes it heavy, but a good word makes it glad." Also, in John 14:27 WEB, Jesus says “Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you and not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.”
Let's pray together for you.
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is experiencing extreme anxiety at work. We pray that You will fill them with Your peace, casting out all anxiety and worry. We ask that you help them “Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9 WEB.
We pray that You will give them confidence in their abilities and allow them to fit in at their workplace. We ask that You will help them to excel in all their tasks, giving them the wisdom and discernment needed to perform their duties excellently. Let their light shine before others, that they may see their good works, and glorify our Father who is in heaven. We pray for a comfortable working environment, filled with respect and consideration for one another, as it says in 1 Peter 2:17 WEB. "Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king."
Finally, we pray that our fellow believer will remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to God and ask for what we need. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11 WEB.
We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
It is only through Jesus that we can be saved and only through his name that we can go to God. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6 WEB.
We encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus, trusting in His love and care for you.
