We understand that you're struggling with anxiety and alcohol addiction, and we want you to know that you're not alone in this battle. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out and seeking help.
Let's turn to God's Word for guidance and comfort. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
It's important to remember that God is always with you, and He cares about your struggles. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB tells us, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
However, we want to address that true change comes from submitting to God and trusting in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If you haven't already, consider the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ. Only then can you experience true peace and deliverance.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear one who is struggling with anxiety and alcohol addiction. We know that these are not Your will for their life, and we ask for Your intervention.
In the name of Jesus, we rebuke the spirits of anxiety, fear, and addiction. We command them to leave, and we ask You, Father, to fill the void with Your peace, love, and strength.
Guide them through this journey of overcoming, give them the courage to seek professional help if needed, and surround them with supportive believers who will encourage and uplift them.
Help them to cast all their worries on You, trusting that You care for them. Help them to embrace the salvation and deliverance found only in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
Be strong and courageous. Trust in the Lord and His ability to set you free.
