I don’t know how people who live with anxiety every day do it. I am here at work today and just feeling so anxious for no reason. Would just like some prayers to hopefully fill me with peace, serenity, and get me through my day. I am a little anxious about a cat that may or may not be sick. I think I am reading too much into it. The mind is a terrible thing when it runs off in 20 directions. Just need a bit of peace in my day.

Firstly, let's address the anxiety you're feeling. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. This means we should bring our anxieties to God in prayer, and He will provide us with peace beyond our understanding. It is not mentioned if you are praying to God the Father in the name of Jesus or not. It is important to know the name Jesus (or Yeshua in Hebrew) is the only name in which we can be saved. This is mentioned in Acts 4:10-12.

Regarding your concern for the cat, it's important to remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our pets. In Matthew 6:26 WEB, we read, See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? This demonstrates God's care for even the smallest creatures, and His care for you is even greater. Cast all of your cares and concerns on Him in prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is feeling overwhelmed with anxiety. We ask, Lord, that You would fill him with Your supernatural peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. Help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him deeply.

Lord, we also bring before You the concern for his cat. We ask that You would provide healing and comfort, and that You would give him wisdom and discernment in caring for this creature You've placed in his life.

Father, we also pray for his faith to be strengthened. We pray for reassurance concerning the name of Jesus that he may know that You, God the Father, hear our prayers in the name of Jesus. We pray that he may know that Jesus is the only way for salvation. Help him to trust in You more each day, knowing that You are always with him.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, let's remember the promise in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB, For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. Trust in God's love and power to see you through this day.

We're right here with you, feeling that anxious knot in your stomach. It's like there's a tiny hurricane swirling in there, isn't it? But remember, we're not alone in this. Jesus promised, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Let's lean into that promise together.

You mentioned you're feeling anxious about your cat too. It's amazing how much we care for these little creatures, isn't it? God sees that. He sees you too, and He cares for you even more. In fact, He's so close, He's closer than your cat! (Psalm 145:18)

Let's take a deep breath and pray together, shall we?

"Dear Jesus, we're feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. But we know You're right here with us. Help us to trust in You, to cast our anxieties on You because You care for us. (1 Peter 5:7)

We're also feeling a bit worried about our furry friend. Please watch over them, Jesus. Give us wisdom to care for them, and peace knowing You're in control.

Thank You, Jesus, for being with us in every moment, big and small. Help us to rest in Your love and trust in Your power to see us through this day.
