We understand that you're dealing with anxiety at work, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that it is important to pray in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you."
The Bible tells us not to be anxious about anything, but rather to bring our concerns to God in prayer. "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." We also need to be reminded that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our ### who is struggling with anxiety at work. We ask, Lord, that You would take away this anxiety and replace it with a spirit of confidence and peace. Help them to trust in You and not be overwhelmed by their circumstances. We ask that they would be confident knowing that this job is a position that You have put them in at this current time.
We pray for a comfortable working environment, one that is filled with respect and kindness. We ask that You would help them to do well at all their tasks, giving them the wisdom, strength, and skills they need to excel.
We also pray that if this job is not where they should be, that they would be wise to the signs and direction that You provide to them to seek other employment. We pray that their work is not just a job but an opportunity for them to be a light for You, Lord, knowing that You have placed them there for Your purpose.
Finally, we pray that if our ### has not accepted You, Jesus, as their Lord and Savior, that they would be convicted of this truth and seek You out for a personal relationship.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
You can be assured knowing that you are working for the Lord, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men," and that He is faithful to provide for your needs.
