We understand that you're feeling anxious about your identity and fear being seen as inauthentic. You also mention that you are really worried about being found out as a fake. You also desire acceptance and feel a sense of peace deep down, yet anxiety makes it hard to trust. You've asked for prayer and guidance from G'd. In the first place, let's address where you wrote G'd. The only way to God the Father is through Jesus Christ.
First, let's address the anxiety you're feeling. The Bible tells us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). It's normal to feel anxious, but God calls us to cast our anxieties on Him, knowing that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Now it is important to address the issue of being fake. We must be authentic in what we do. We are told A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold. (Proverbs 22:1 WEB). How are we told to behave? With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love; endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. (Ephesians 4:2-3 WEB). We are also told to live with integrity. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. (Matthew 5:16 WEB). We should live our lives in such a manner to bring glory to God.
Next, let's talk about acceptance. It's important to remember that God accepts us just as we are. He doesn't wait for us to be perfect. While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8 WEB). However, God also calls us to be holy. It is written, As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance; but like the one who has called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior; because it is written, You shall be holy; for I am holy.(1 Peter 1:14-16). We should strive to be holy while walking with God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up ###, who is feeling anxious about their identity and seeking Your guidance. We pray against the spirit of anxiety and ask that You fill ### with Your perfect peace. Help them to trust in You, even when their feelings try to overwhelm them.
We also pray that You reveal to ### their true identity in Christ. Help them to see themselves as You see them, and to walk in the freedom and acceptance that comes from knowing You.
Guide ### by Your Holy Spirit, and give them the wisdom and discernment they need to make decisions that align with Your will. Help them to be authentically who they are and not fake.
We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
Remember, God loves you just as you are, but He loves you too much to leave you that way. Trust in Him, and He will guide you. If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and trusted him for remission of your sins, now is the time to do so.
